Our world is hyper-connected—and yet, especially when we struggle, we often feel alone in what we’re navigating. What I’ve found, however, is that others grapple with much of the same challenges and questions we do. Sure, our exact circumstances might be unique, yet the currents and experiences that shape our lives are fundamentally the same.
We all search for a sense of meaning and purpose. We want to earn enough to feel secure and support ourselves, those that depend on us, and the life we envision. We want to work in an environment that enables us to thrive and grow. We yearn to be seen and understood. We long for authentic connection with others. We want to love and feel loved.
This is one of the many reasons I share openly about my own life—it helps others to not feel alone and to step beyond any shame they might be experiencing as a result of what they are going through.
Put simply, connection and community are powerful, and I’m committed to fueling it however I can.
